I’m sharing the exact things I’ve done, and you can do, to be more productive and see progress in your life asap.
THE BEST PRODUCTIVE MORNING ROUTINE
Rewind…
OK so before we talk about the morning of, we have to address the elephant in the room: sleep.
In order to make this morning routine as effective as possible, you have to rewind to the night before and prioritize getting quality sleep. Simply put, this does not work if you are constantly tired.
Forget all those quotes about sleeping when you die or thoughts that you have to work 24 hours in order to be successful because, they simply are not true.
The name of the game when it comes to productivity is preparation and efficiency – and it all starts with sleep.
Wake Up Early To Something You Enjoy
The first thing to do in order to have a productive morning routine is change the way you spend the first 15-20 minutes of every morning.
In conversations I’ve had with friends, and even strangers, I realized that many of us have a habit of being mentally busy as soon as we open our eyes in the morning.
If you’ve ever hit the snooze button, dreaded waking up, wished it was the weekend, or thought about quitting your job before 8am, then you definitely know what I’m talking about.
When you wake up and prioritize the needs of others, including work, you’re essentially putting yourself in the last place on your list.
This can lead to feelings of being on autopilot, resentment towards others, and even perceived low self-worth because you’ll be so tired by the end of the day that nothing is left for you…or your dreams.
If you want to look forward to your days and have more stamina to maintain your life and accomplish your goals, try starting your mornings by waking up early and to something you find enjoyable.

Asking yourself these kinds of questions may seem juvenile, but I promise that answering them can help you make faster progress towards your goals.
When I started pausing throughout the day to check-in with myself, I was surprised by how many factors affected my mood and ability to create.
I learned that if I’m not feeling positive, balanced, loved, and fed, my productivity levels plummet and I’m one life event away from questioning the attainability of my dreams.
If you have BIG goals and you’re currently on autopilot, then it’s an absolute must that you make time in your productive morning routine to self-audit every single day.

Start A To-Do List #Top3
Now that you’ve prioritized time with yourself, boosted your confidence, and met all of your basic needs, you’ve already addressed the majority of reasons why most people find it difficult to be productive and fail.
The other half of the battle is highlighting your vision for the day and using a to-do list, or planner, to note your goals and everything that’s top of mind.
Begin by picking your goal/s of the day and highlighting 3 things you can do to make progress towards it/them.
The key is – you have to make progress, or take action, within increments of 15, 30, and 45 minutes.
Depending on how you’re feeling and your focus for the day, these slots can be for three separate goals or one larger goal.
For example, say your larger goal is to write a blog post for your website. Here’s one way you could use the time blocks, despite going to work or school full-time, to get closer to your goal:
15 min break – Do research online and find out which topic you want to discuss. Take note of article titles, SEO, trends, and jot down things you may want to cover.
Go back to work or school.
30 min break – Go to a quiet place and use the voice recorder on your phone to talk-out the article and anything that comes to mind. You can even talk to text and send it to yourself. Don’t worry about grammar or run-on sentences, you can fix that later.
After work or school:
45 min break – Upload your text to a Word or Google doc and use this time to create a physical draft of your blog post. Customize the font type, size, and add headers and names of sections. Do an initial proofread and correct any spelling or grammar mistakes.
If you have more time, write your meta description and introduction paragraph.
If not, close your laptop and use the same intervals over the following days to make progress.
After a few days pass, you will have a finished product that you can post.
This method can be applied to any goal you have, and it helps you progress faster because it’s easier to convince your mind to commit to smaller steps versus hours’ worth of work.
Even if the rest of the day gets derailed, delivering results within these three time increments is proof that you made progress towards your goal.
Rinse and repeat or scale as needed.
Conclusion
What I love about this productive morning routine is that it can be applied towards any goal, dream, or objective.
I’ve used these exact steps to do everything from getting a new job to cleaning my home, writing blog articles, losing weight, learning new skills, boosting my self-worth and so much more!
My hope is that you feel empowered on your journey and will use these tools to help you get closer to living the life you’ve imagined.
By following these steps, I know you will gain the clarity, stamina, and motivation needed to execute on your goals and see progress asap!
